Story
Salto Robotale tells the story of a family circus on its way to the modern age. A new, sensational attraction is to be presented: An industrial robot. This new wild machine monster must now be tamed, trained and made into a sensational new act.
Everyone claims the robot for themselves and their own discipline. Old disciplines break down and become something uniquely new and new disciplines and combinations emerge.

Erzählt wird die Geschichte eines Familien-Circus, auf dem Weg in die Moderne. Eine neue, sensationelle Attraktion soll präsentiert werden: Ein Industrie-Roboter. Dieses neue wilde Maschinen-Monster muss nun gezähmt, dressiert und zu einem sensationellen neuen Act trainiert werden. Alle beanspruchen den Roboter für sich und die eigene Disziplin. Idea
Salto Robotale is a modern homage to the "traditional circus world and circus family".
It presents an aesthetic that plays very much with the free forms and improvisational content of street theatre and is inspired by Nouveau Cirque. The show develops a charm and poetry all of its own, which the audience would not expect.
Artistry, juggling, partner acrobatics, Chinese pole and aerial artistry are combined with references to comics, films and video games. These borrowings are not accidental, but inevitable!
The music is wide-ranging: In addition to well-known film scores and pop songs from various phases of rock and pop history, various sounds from video games and films are used.
Not only for the audience is this spectacle exciting and a challenge for all senses and full of surprises!

Salto Robotale ist eine moderne Hommage an die „traditionelle Circus-Welt und Circus-Familie“.
Präsentiert wird eine Ästhetik, die sehr stark mit den freien Formen und dem improvisatorischen Gehalt des Straßentheaters spielt und vom Nouveau Cirque inspiriert ist. Die Show entwickelt einen ganz eigenen Charme und eine Poesie, die der Zuschauer so nicht vermutet.
Artistik, Jonglage, Partnerakrobatik, Chinesischer Mast und Luftartistik werden kombiniert mit Anleihen bei Comics, Filmen und Videospielen. Diese Anleihen sind nicht zufällig gewählt, sondern ergeben sich zwangsläufig!
Die Musik ist weit gefächert: Neben bekannten Filmmusiken und Pop-Songs aus den verschiedensten Phasen der Rock und Pop-Historie, werden verschiedene Sounds aus Videospielen und Filmen eingesetzt.
Nicht nur für die Zuschauer ist dieses Spektakel spannend und eine Herausforderung für alle Sinne und voller Überraschungen!

UliK Robotic Circus
For 30 years UliK has been building unusual machines and performing with them all over the world. In 2007, he was able to fulfill his dream: Yaskawa, a Japanese robot manufacturer with a branch near Munich, lent him a robot for a first project in Luxembourg. Already during these first attempts he recognized the potential in the interaction between artist and robot. The robot comes alive and opens up endless possibilities. With the robot's six axes, incredible movements can be performed.
A new circus discipline was created! At the 39th World Circus Festival in Paris 2018, UliK Robotic won the Cirque du Soleil Innovation Award. Bernhard Paul from Circus Roncalli immediately understood that the creation of UliK Robotic - RoboPole was a redefinition of a classic circus act and signed a contract with him. Since 2019, the act RoboPole is a part of the Roncalli Circus Theater. For Cirque du Soleil, he created a number for the Messi10 show. The premiere was on 2020 in Barcelona.
In addition, the UliK Robotic acts DRUMGOD, Pas-de-deux, RoboPole and Acrobotic are on tour in Germany and Europe at various street theater and circus festivals.
Through the cooperation and the joint performances with the various artists at the individual acts, he and the participating artists grew the idea and desire to create a complete show around the robot. Thus the UliK Robotic Circus was born.

Seit 30 Jahren baut UliK ungewöhnliche Maschinen und tritt damit weltweit auf. Im Jahr 2007 konnte er sich seinen Traum erfüllen: Yaskawa, ein japanischer Roboterhersteller mit einer Niederlassung bei München, lieh ihm einen Roboter für ein erstes Projekt in Luxemburg. Schon bei diesen ersten Versuchen hat er das Potential in dem Zusammenspiel zwischen Künstler und Roboter erkannt. Der Roboter wird lebendig und eröffnet unendliche Möglichkeiten. Mit den sechs Achsen des Roboter können unglaubliche Bewegungen vollzogen werden.
Eine neue Zirkusdisziplin wurde geschaffen! Auf dem 39. Weltzirkusfestival in Paris 2018 gewann UliK Robotic den Innovationspreis des Cirque du Soleil. Bernhard Paul vom Circus Roncalli verstand sofort, dass die Schaffung von UliK Robotic - RoboPole eine Neudefinition einer klassischen Zirkusnummer war und unterzeichnete mit ihm einen Vertrag. Seit 2019 ist der Act RoboPole ein Teil des Roncalli Circus Theater. Für den Cirque du Soleil hat er eine Nummer für die Messi10-Show kreiert. Premiere war am 2020 in Barcelona.
Darüber hinaus sind die UliK Robotic Acts DRUMGOD, Pas-de-deux, RoboPole und Acrobotic in Deutschland und Europa auf diversen Straßentheater- und Zirkus- Festivals unterwegs.
Durch die Zusammenarbeit und die gemeinsamen Auftritte mit den verschieden Artisten bei den einzeln Acts, wuchs bei ihm und den beteiligten Artisten die Idee und Lust, eine komplette Show rund um den Roboter zu kreieren. Damit war der UliK Robotic Circus geboren.
